Ginkgo biloba is a deciduous tree and one of the oldest living tree species in the world. It’s so ancient, it’s known as the ‘living fossil’ and it first appeared over 290 million years ago.

Although native to China, it was the first of its species to be planted in the UK. Gingko leaf extract is commonly used as a dietary supplement.
