The action unfolds just as Layton fans have come to expect – in the course of your investigations many (many!) fiendish puzzles tax the player’s grey matter, and as you solve them you’ll get ever closer to the heart of the mystery. You don’t have to do it alone though. A young Gressenheller student by the name of Ernest Greeves joins the agency as Katrielle’s assistant and when Sherl, a talking dog, enters the fray as their first client she soon becomes a trusty sidekick, too. The sleuthing is accompanied with optional side puzzles, as well as modes that have you decorate the agency’s offices and dress Katrielle. This Deluxe Edition includes upwards of 40 brand-new puzzles, as well as a series of tweaks to the existing ones. Plus, you’ll get access to all the content that was previously released as paid DLC right off the bat, not to mention an HD overhaul of the graphics for the Switch and 50 brand-new outfits.
