A mom-a-tee is joined by two calves plus two nature researchers who have the good sense to not use the motor on their boat when their manatees are around. Observation supplies like radio trackers, maps, and cameras are included – as are hats and hairbands, because you don’t want to look like you’re underdressed when visiting the manatees. They are judgey. Not only do you get a boat that really floats, you get a lily pad with a frog, a snake, and a life preserver should one of your 3-inch plastic figures fall off the boat.
