Top 5 Halloween Games For Kids
Lexi Posted on:-18-10-22 Features,
Are you thinking about having a spooktastic Halloween day with the kids? What better to involve in your spooky day than one of our Halloween board games! Here are our top 5 spooky Halloween board games to get played, party time or not – both are fine.
1. Ghost Blitz
Ghost Blitz is a spooky party game which involves having quick reactions, with even quicker hands! In Ghost Blitz, you receive a deck of cards and five wooden objects. These objects are a white ghost, a green bottle, a grey mouse, a red chair and a blue book. Sounds pretty interesting, right?
I daren’t say anymore… it is time for you to find out when happens next when you give the game a play for yourself! This game is created for 2-8 players with an average playing time of 20 minutes. The recommended age for play is 8+.
2. Ticket To Ride Ghost Train
Ticket to Ride is a fan favourite for board games. This edition is part of the ‘First Journey’ collection, specifically for the youngsters, maybe for those very new to board gaming too! You will be traveling through the different locations on the map, seeing sights such as the Mad Scientist’s Lab, the Lonely Barn with so many more to discover!
This game is for 2-4 players of the ages 6 and above. The average playing time for this game is 15-30 minutes and players have loved every minute of it!
3. Welcome To: Halloween
Boo! Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you, I just wanted to get your attention because, much like Ticket to Ride, who doesn’t love the ‘Welcome To…’ series? This game is very similarly a Welcome To Your Perfect Home game, however, it has been spiced up with some ghastly additions and there may be some treats there whilst you’re at it.
Created for 1-100 players (yes 100 players!), the average play time is 25 minutes but I’m sure you can make this go on for longer, or even play multiple rounds! This one is for the older kiddies, marked at an age of 10+.
4. Halloween King Of Tokyo
This one is a bit cheeky on my behalf to throw in here, but it is a super cool addition to the King Of Tokyo base game! This box includes two new monsters to use alongside the King Of Tokyo base game. And they are not disappointing characters, don’t you worry. You will get your hands on Pumpkin Jack and Boogie Woogie! Not only this, but to fit in with the Halloween theme, you will also get six engraved dice, which are very fitting, and some new cards to add to the deck!
King of Tokyo is typically played at 2-6 players for half an hour (30 minutes) for ages 8 and above. Will you be giving this one a bash?
5. Patchwork: Halloween Edition
This game is frightfully fun, I must say. There is plenty of ghoulish gleeful artwork to wrap your eyes over. Much like the original Patchwork, the gameplay is the exact same. You get some adorable pumpkin meeples and eyeball tiles. That isn’t it though, you will need to see the rest for yourself… I’m too scared to speak about it here. (Only joking, it’s not that bad, but you really should see for yourself).
This is for 2 players ages 8+ and 15-30 mins of spooky playing time!
We hope this helped and that you have chosen one of our Halloween board games to get playing this spooky season!
