Top 5 Nerf Guns
Lexi Posted on:-25-08-22 Features,
‘It’s Nerf or Nothin’. A saying we’ve heard consistently playing on television adverts for almost 30 years! Nerf toys have evolved and grown over the years, while never failing to be a go-to toy as generations change.
Did you know, NERF actually stands for ‘non-expanding recreational foam’, meaning it is made of soft foam and cannot be used as an actual weapon. Nerf toys come in all different forms but their most popular collection is their guns! There is such a wide range of Nerf guns and that is why Toy Street have compiled a list of our Top 5 Nerf guns for you to buy (yes you can buy one for yourself)!
5. Nerf Elite 2.0 Echo CS 10
First of all, let me start by saying that you get 24 darts with this gun! Another thing this gun comes with is a shoulder rest, which can be detached if you don’t want it on there. You can also add or remove the barrel extension which changes the power of the blaster – how awesome is that? You can create your own game strategy with this gun with tactical thinking and smarts…
This gun shoots its darts up to 27 metres, which yes, is very far. It holds 10 darts at a time in one magazine load and it requires you to cock the carriage back and forth and then push the trigger to fire a bullet. You can also hold down the trigger while moving the tension slide to fire multiple at a time!
4. Hasbro Nerf Minecraft Pillagers Crossbow
If you or someone you know is a fan of Minecraft, then this is an ultimate gift! The crossbow fires like a real crossbow and requires the same actions to do so! This crossbow only comes with three darts, so you may need a refill pack in case you manage to lose a few. It is super powerful and shoots up to about 20 metres!
This crossbow is one of the Nerf guns that fires 3 darts and can be done one after the other in quick succession. All you have to do to do so is pull back the lever and squeeze the trigger! The ammo will fire out at speed and let it do its thing.
3. Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander RD-6
The Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander RD-6 holds 6 darts in one barrel, preparing you avidly for battle with the 12 darts that comes with it. Three tactical rails, a barrel attachment point and a stock attachment point for you to fully customise as you wish to prepare it as you’d want for battle!
There is a slam fire action which lets you fire all 6 darts at rapid speeds, or you can fire them each singularly for precision. This is definitely a go to gun if you are preparing for battle…
2. Nerf Fortnite Heavy SR
Similar to the Minecraft crossbow, this gun is perfect for those Fortnite fans out there! They get to feel as though they’re in a game of Fortnite running around, in an attempt to win the Victory Royale! With 8 darts included in the pack, it gives the real feel of the Fortnite Heavy SR.
There is a scope which can be removed if you think it gets in the way, for getting a better aim at your target and line up your shot. Not only does this Heavy SR look super cool, but it is one of the longest Nerf Guns to exist! Load up the 6 magazine barrel and shoot, what are you waiting for?!
1. Nerf Elite 2.0 Flip 32
In my personal opinion, I think this is one of the coolest looking Nerf guns ever! You can quite literally ‘flip’ into battle! The 32 barrels are split with 16 facing the front, and 16 at the back waiting to be flipped when its time comes. An epic feature f this gun is that if you pull the trigger halfway, it releases one dart… if you pull it the whole way back it releases two!
To rotate the barrel, all that is required is that you pull that handle, and bang! It’s rotated. The perfect gun to make opponents think, and wonder ‘Have I won?’ but no, they have not.
We hope this blog helped you decide what Nerf gun to buy, whether you are buying one for yourself or as a gift!
