In the 1990s, Ty’s Beanie Babies were all the rage and some collectors even treated them like highly valuable works of art. Sadly, the bears didn’t end up quite as valuable as some thought and the Beanie Baby bubble did eventually burst. Since then, Ty has launched more toys in a range of collections from Baby Ty to the wide-eyed Beanie Boos and it seems like Ty is back on top form! Today we look at the best Ty Teddies.

Walking the high street, you’re most likely to see the increasingly common Beanie Boos in most small retailers. They launched in 2009 with an original collection of seven toys: Bamboo the Panda, Bubblegum the Koala, Coconut the Monkey, Kiwi the Frog, Peanut the Elephant, Slush the Husky and Waddles the Penguin.

Austin the Owl

Austin is a Beanie Boo with big bright eyes and a pointy beak. You can see his little feet poke out under his soft white down and his wings are soft as a feather, always ready to give a hug. Austin is cuddly, wise, and a hoot! Making him the perfect friend.

Wave Aqua Seal Flippable

Wave Aqua Seal is certainly one of the cutest Beanie Boos. He has sparkling eyes, a button nose, and little flippers. He is also one of the funkiest Beanie Boos. Wave is covered in amazing aqua sequins to match the waves, however, if you stroke him, his sequins flip and he becomes a tantalising shade of turquoise.

Mandy the Poodle 

Ooh, la la. Surely the fanciest Beanie Boo has got to be Mandy the Poodle. This pooch comes in a beautiful shade of blue (that Mandy would probably describe as azure) with matching glittery eyes. Mandy does not like walks or rolling around in the mud. She only requests cuddles and grooms, and a treat every now and then!

Dangler Sloth Flippable

Do you prefer your sloth besties to come in stunning gold or shimmering black? It doesn’t matter with Ty’s Danger Sloth Flippable because, as his name suggests, he is flippable! Run your hand up his back for a dramatic black or down for a glamourous gold. Watching out for his glittery claws though!

Rodney the Hamster

You’ll never have to look hard when Rodney is on the loose, his rainbow fur is unmissable! Whether he’s strolling around in his ball or escaping the hutch, Rodney is always up to something. He scampers on his pink sparkly feet and looks at you with big glittery eyes, asking for another treat to chomp!
